Tourist (90-days)
Designed for those who wish to enter Indonesia for leisure, sightseeing, or visiting friends and family:
- Validity: Usually valid for entering Indonesia within 3 months from the date of issue.
- Duration: Once you enter Indonesia, you can stay for up to 60 days.
- Extension: It’s possible to apply for an extension of stay for another 30 days after arrival, making the total potential duration of stay up to 90 days.
Required Documents:
- Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
- Photograph taken within the last six months
- Proof of living expenses of at least 2000 USD
Long-term Documents:
Temporary Stay: For foreigners who wish to live in Indonesia for various purposes such as work, family reunification, or retirement. Valid for 6–12 months and renewable.
Work: Issued to foreigners who are employed by an Indonesian company, allowing them to stay for up to 12 months, with the option to renew annually.
Investor: For foreign investors who hold shares in an Indonesian company.Valid for up to 2 years and allows multiple entries.
Spouse: For foreign spouses of Indonesian citizens, allowing long-term stay without the right to work. Typically valid for 1 year and renewable.
Retirement: For foreigners aged 55 and above who wish to retire in Indonesia. Valid for 1 year, renewable annually, and does not allow the holder to work.
Student: For foreign students enrolled in educational institutions in Indonesia, valid for the duration of their studies, typically 1 year, and renewable based on the study program.
Family: For spouses and children of Indonesian citizens, valid for 5 years, with indefinite renewals.
Research: Issued to foreign researchers who are conducting academic or scientific research in Indonesia, typically valid for up to 12 months and extendable.
Volunteer: For foreigners involved in volunteer activities in Indonesia, allowing long-term stay with a maximum validity of 12 months, renewable.
