Travel Documents

Arrival Card

All foreign and local citizens traveling to the Philippines must complete an Arrival Card within 72 hours before departure. This document does not replace a visa, but is required to enter the country.

 Required Documents:

  1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document
  2. Travel booking confirmation
  3. Proof of accommodation in the Philippines, e.g. Accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in the Philippines
  1. Long-term Documents:

The Philippines offers several long-term options for foreigners who wish to stay for extended periods, whether for work, investment, study, or retirement:

  1. Employment: For foreign nationals with a confirmed job offer in the Philippines. It allows the holder to stay for the duration of the employment contract.

  2. Trade Treaty: For nationals of countries with which the Philippines has a trade treaty, allowing individuals to enter for business or investment purposes.

  3. Retiree: For foreigners aged 35 and above, offering several privileges such as indefinite stay and multiple-entry status. This document requires a minimum deposit or investment, depending on the applicant’s age and other criteria.

  4. Spouse: For foreign spouses of Filipino citizens. This document allows foreign nationals to reside permanently in the Philippines with their Filipino spouse.

  5. Returning Resident: For natural-born Filipinos who have become citizens of another country and wish to permanently reside in the Philippines.

  6. Special Investor’s Resident: Granted to foreign nationals who invest a minimum of USD 75,000 in a business or investment approved by the Philippine government. This document allows for indefinite stay in the Philippines.

  7. Employment Generation: For foreign nationals who employ at least 10 Filipino citizens in a lawful and sustainable enterprise. This document grants indefinite residency.

  8. Student: For foreign nationals accepted into accredited educational institutions in the Philippines. It is typically valid for the duration of the study program.

These documents provide pathways for foreign nationals to live, work, study, or invest in the Philippines for extended periods, depending on their qualifications and purposes. Unfortunately, these travel documents are not yet available for online applications…
